Place yourself in the position of caring for 3,000 Sheep. You would not only have to make sure that they had enough to eat, but also space for proper health and sustainability. You would also be responsible for protecting them from disease, harmful pests, and predation to say the least.

They make their own boundaries!
Just take a moment and think about a successful HoneyBee Colony. Well, you have the equivalent of over 300,000 tiny sheep. They are confined by the same factors as the sheep. They require constant care and monitoring, healthy living and reproductive space, adequate forage and water, shelter from the elements. The beauty is that you don’t have to build a corral, but provide for the needs of the colony and they will set their own boundaries. This can range up to three miles from a colony.
